Tool-time & Chili Cook-off

And a good time was had by all!  New date and time to be announced.

February 24, 2019, 5 p.m.

It’s the biggest men’s event of the year!

Special presentation by Jason Blanton:  A Primer on Painting (6:45pm)

Free gift for the first 100 guys who register at the door.
(Participation in displays and contests not required.)

Weather will NOT cancel this event (unless roads are closed).

TOOL-TIME begins at 5pm as men and boys enjoy show ‘n’ tell hobbies, collections, tool demonstrations, idea-sharing, Do-It-Yourself projects, fellowship, and more.

ARRIVE EARLY to set up your table (doors open for set-up at 3:30pm).  One table per man or team (you are responsible for set-up, take-down, and clean-up of your display).  Suggested displays include:

  • how-to or do-it-yourself projects
  • crafts from your workshop
  • collections
  • something of interest to you
  • what you do for work
  • sport or recreational interest
  • Father/Son activity or interest
  • Or just bring pictures to show off!

CHILI COOK-OFF follows at 6pm.  To enter the contest, simply cook up your best chili, bring a pot full, and register it at the door.  Truth is, that’s all we’re having for dinner.  Soft drinks, cheeses, and crackers provided.    Judges will start judging promptly at 6pm.  Must be present to win!

Bring your chili ready-to-eat (please label if spicy hot).  No preparation on site.  Power outlets are limited.  Three awards will be given for best chili.  (Chili must be made by entrant.)
